At Front Foot Surf we believe in the transformative power of the ocean and the joy of surfing. It's our mission to inspire surfers of all levels and support them on their journey of surfing with our surf coaching.
What many people don't know is that surfing is a super technical sport
To improve your surfing skills you need a coach who is:
1. A skilled teacher who can explain clearly the technical maneuvers to get you to the next level,
2. An ocean safety expert who makes you feel comfortable in the water yet challenges you,
3. Someone who helps you get to know yourself better on a personal level through surfing, and

About Alexs, Founder & Head Coach
Alex was born and raised in Nias, an island north of Sumatra.
Living just down the road from Sorake Point, you could find him on the beach surfing whenever he had the chance. He wanted nothing more than to be in the water to get better at surfing and skipped many days of school to receive life lessons from the ocean. Balance, right?
After a knee injury he stopped surfing professionally and dedicated his time to teach others all about surfing. Alexs is a registered ISA surf coach with a life guard certificate because safety comes first!
For Alexs surfing is all about having fun being out in nature, meeting new people, all while challenging yourself mentally and physically.
