MEET YOUR COACH
Alex was born and raised in Nias.
Living just down the road from Sorake Point, you could find him on the beach surfing whenever he had the chance. He wanted nothing more than to be in the water to improve his skills, often skipping school to receive life lessons from the ocean. Balance, right?
After a knee injury, he stopped surfing professionally and dedicated his time to teaching others about surfing. Alex is a registered ISA surf coach with a lifeguard certificate.
Since 2015, Alex has been based part time in Bali, where he lives with his wife and two kids. He started Front Foot Surf with the mission of sharing the joy, challenge, and connection that surfing brings. For Alex, surfing is all about having fun in nature, meeting new people, and challenging yourself both mentally and physically.

We coach you during your stay in a small group. Spots are limited to max 6 surfers at a time to keep the quality high.

We run surf trips in Nias throughout 2 months at a time.
You can choose your own arrival and departure dates within this period, staying for 10 or 14 days, depending on your schedule.
Even though dates are flexible, availability is limited. Once we reach 6 people for the same time,
we don’t add more surfers.

10 DAY SURF TRIP
10 days, 9 nights, 8 days of surf coaching. No surf coaching on day of
arrival & departure.

• Non-refundable deposit (10%): USD 147
